Well it appears that other people also believe in the voice to text market. Welcome all! This is fantastic news. To me the model is now proven. Too many smart people seem to think that typing is not the end all and be all of mobile computing. Now voice to text is not perfect in anyway shape or form but with enough demand it will get there.

For now there exists the opportunity to present clear use cases to as large an installed base as possible. This is also a platform play so the rewards could be lucrative. Some of us are bootstrapping and other are taking sizable checks from angels. This is a space to watch even if some people don’t see or get the model. There is a segment that will never be convinced that there are viable alternatives to typing. While apparently some of us still dream of interacting with computing devices with our voices. Some thing tells me that the latter will eventually win them all over and that the ASR space will because active and vibrant.

Saw the Jott coverage in TechCrunch the other day.

“To me the model is now proven.”

Agreed - and from reading the info on Jott etc. it seems you are all taking a slightly different tact, which is great. Gotta love those periscope companies.

Gotta love competition. Nothing gets the juices flowing like a good healthy race, keep your vision strong and focus, you’ll do fine.
